Capt. Pontianus built ORION IPJ on more than three decades at sea and offshore. A Master Mariner holding an unlimited Class 1 Certificate of Competency and a Master's in Management, he has led rig moves, marine warranty surveys and offshore project execution for major marine, oil & gas operators across Asia and beyond.
Rig moves and tow master operations across the full range of MODU — semi-submersible rigs, tender barges, jack-up rigs and drillships — plus MOPU and FPSO positioning, wet tows, dry tows and conventional mooring-anchor systems.
IMCA CMID Accredited Vessel Inspector and Independent Marine Warranty Surveyor (MWS) — condition, suitability, pre-purchase, on/off-hire and consumable surveys, platform inspection, towing approvals, load on/out, P&I condition surveys and accident investigation.
Sea time across drilling ships — Frontier Drilling ASA, Northern Offshore Drilling and OPUS Offshore Drilling — alongside seismic vessels, derrick lay barges and accommodation units, with hands-on command of dredgers, semi-submersible and jack-up rigs.
